Coated Metals Group Welcomes Matt Johannsen as Director of Strategic Expansion
Coated Metals Group (CMG) is thrilled to announce the hiring of Matt Johannsen as the new Director of Strategic Expansion. In this role, Matt will spearhead CMG’s increased efforts to identify and establish new locations in strategic geographic markets for manufacturing and distribution facilities and coordinate the operational steps to open these new brick-and-mortar sites.
Matt Johannsen brings a wealth of experience to CMG, making him a perfect fit for this critical expansion initiative. His professional journey includes experience in the construction industry, where he played a pivotal role in building a robust sales team for a prominent Madison, WI-based construction company. Leveraging his sales and leadership skills, Matt then transitioned to the hospitality industry, where he founded a successful restaurant group in Colorado. Under his leadership, the group expanded rapidly, opening multiple locations across several states. “We are excited to have Matt join our team,” said Gary Woodward, President of Coated Metals Group. “His newly created role will help us explore new cities for expansion and open additional locations at a quicker rate. His involvement has already jumpstarted opening our 10th facility.”
